If you are aged 16-18 on 31 August 2026 and a British or European Union resident, the tuition and exam registration fees for your course are FREE. If you are aged 19 to 23 on 31 August 2026 and looking to study your first full Level 3 qualification, the tuition fee will be free. If you are aged 19 or above on 31 August 2026 and already have a Level 3 qualification or if you are aged 24 or over, you will need to pay a fee.

If you have a particular hardship that would otherwise prevent you from studying, our range of bursaries may be able to help with essential costs such as travel, books or trips.

At The Corby Sixth Form, we don’t want travel costs to be a barrier stopping you from coming to study with us. You may be eligible for our Travel Bursary

This is a means-tested bursary of up to £770 depending on where you live, to help with the costs of travelling to The Corby Sixth Form.

It is only available if you:

  • do not receive subsidised travel through your local authority
  • live more than three miles from the campus and
  • have a household income of less than £42,500.

Students aged 19 and over at the start of their course should apply for support through the Adult Support Fund. If you were 18 at the start of your course, you are still eligible for support from the 16-19 Bursary until you complete the second year of your course.

Depending on the courses you choose to study, there may be extra costs you have to pay on top of any tuition and exam fees. Trips, visits and external speakers will be charged for and you will be expected to buy your own textbooks.

If you have a particular disability or mobility problem (including a temporary medical condition), you may be entitled to assistance with travel arrangements even if you live under three miles from The Corby Sixth Form. Please check your local authority’s transport policy.
