Subjects Taught: Philosophy and Classics
I studied a Bachelor Honours Degree in Philosophy at the University of Bucharest and a PGCE at the University of Bedfordshire. I have been teaching for the Bedford College Group since 2021. Teaching philosophy is a deeply rewarding experience and it can have a meaningful impact on my student’s life. Philosophy, by its nature, encourages students to engage with fundamental questions about existence, knowledge and ethics.
Students are encouraged to analyse arguments, evaluate evidence, explore different perspectives and challenge assumptions. It is also connected with other subjects, such as, history, literature and science, allowing students to see the connection between the different disciplines.
