Students get sneak preview of their new Corby Sixth Form College.

Excited students who are looking forward to starting their new educational journey at The Corby Sixth Form in September were given an exclusive preview of the building.

Work is being finalised on the £9.5 Million project to transform a building at the Corby shopping centre into a “go-to” place for students wanting to sign up for A Levels in a 16+ only environment.

A stepping stone from school towards university or employment/apprenticeships, The Corby Sixth Form will provide a modern setting where young people can make a move towards their futures.

On the tour day nearly 60 applicants, plus guests, met tutors who will be helping students towards achieving their academic aims.

Ready for Autumn

Head of Sixth Forms Helen Smith, who oversees the highly successful Bedford Sixth Form (part of The Bedford College Group) joined the event to give a picture of the sort of expectations of students who want to be part of such an establishment.

The tour gave students the chance to see classrooms and the roof garden as well as other facilities which are being finished in readiness for the autumn term.

It’s not too late to apply to join us.

The Corby Sixth Form is part of The Bedford College Group, which includes Tresham College.
