A level Students at The Corby Sixth Form are celebrating as the second ever cohort of students to collect their results with a pass rate of 93.4%, an increase of 4% from last year.

Students were able to celebrate with 29%  of A level grades at A*–B and 100% pass rates in a wide range of subject areas including Ancient History, Classical Civilisation, English Language & Literature, English Literature, Art & Design, Computer Science, French, Further Mathematics, Italian, Mathematics, Politics, Spanish.

Students have secured places at universities across the country, including Loughborough, Nottingham Trent, Newcastle and De Montfort to study degrees in Psychology, Mechanical Engineering and Human Resources Management.

Kathryn Brindley – Edwards, Principal of Sixth Forms at The Bedford College Group praised the students’ efforts: 

“This is our second ever A level cohort, and I’m very proud of how our students continue to make history at The Corby Sixth Form, achieving a strong 93.4% pass rate. We look forward to hearing how they progress through university and into their chosen careers and look forward to welcoming new students to start their journey with us in September.”

Elias Molociniuc, 18  from Corby achieved A, B, C in French, Classical Civilisation and History.

Elias, who is now progressing to study French and History in Paris at the University of London Institute said:

“It’s been good studying here at Corby Sixth Form. You’re given freedom to learn in the way you want but when I have struggled, Georgia Jones has helped me revise and with study techniques, plus helping with my international application so that I’m ready for France !”

Troy left

Troy Constantino, 18 from Corby achieved A*, A, A in Maths, Further Maths and Physics and will now be progressing to Loughborough University to study Mechanical Engineering.

He said: “The best thing about studying at the Sixth Form is getting to do what you love to do and being able to have the chance to continue to do that.”

Justas Pabreza, 18 from Corby achieved A, B, B in Maths, Physics and Business and will be progressing to University of Sheffield to study Data Science.

He said:

“I’ve enjoyed the chance to gain independent study skills and how the teachers have helped me get where I am today. The facilities, especially the Computing suite are great here.”

Angel & Szilvia TCSF August 2026

Angel, 18 who studied Psychology, Law and Criminology has achieved A,A, B and will be progressing to her first choice Russell Group university to study Psychology. Angel plans to continue her studies up to Masters and PhD level.

She said:

“I’ve really liked it here at the Sixth Form, you’re given the opportunity to become more independent and gain the skills for studying at university here.”

Jessica left

Jessica Robinson, 17 from Corby achieved A,C,C in Criminology, Psychology and Politics and is now going to University of Nottingham to study Criminology.

Jessica said:

“My tutor Steven Sheehan has been super helpful when it came to psychology, helping with focussed one to one support to help. I’ve enjoyed studying here at The Corby Sixth Form and the friends I’ve made here. I feel we learn in a similar way to the university experience in terms of autonomy.”
